Dearest Reader,
Many Sided Media is thrilled to announce the launch of our next big project: Bitcherton.
Bitcherton is an improvised comedy podcast inspired by the game Good Society, the works of Jane Austen and the Netflix adaptation of Bridgerton, and features a spectacular cast of comedy stars playing the conniving members of the Bitcherton family.
Lady Patience Bitcherton has unwed daughters, nosy neighbors, awful country cousins, and now, a body to hide. Will the Bitchertons be able to keep their secrets off the pages of Lady Bigg-Withers gossip sheet? Or will her pen skewer their good name forever?
Oh bits! What a predicament!
The Cast
YOWZA! We’ve got an ALL-STAR cast for this one!
We have matriarch Patience Bitcherton played by Cassie Wilson (Hulu), daughters Esther and Gwen Bitcherton played by Alex Song-Xia (Rick and Morty) and Carolyn Page (Dropout), dopey cousin Violet Bitcherton played by Katie Marovitch (Dropout), randy Vicar Devoutly played by Ify Nwadiwe (Um, Actually…) and his lovesick son Davis Devoutly played by Brian Flaherty (My First Dungeon).
Plus, we’ve got a [SECRET] list of guest stars that we’ll be announcing throughout the campaign. But if you think this cast is good then you’re going to FLIP when you see the guests we’ve got lined up.
Listen Now
The full-length first episode of Bitcherton is available NOW!
We wanted to show you EXACTLY what this devilishly funny podcast has to offer before the launch of our Kickstarter on June 13 and to show you why it simply MUST support this campaign.
Why Kickstarter?
This Kickstarter aims to raise $30,000 to produce a full 10-episode season of Bitcherton. It’s a lot of money, but making something this good requires a massive amount of time and effort and we want to make sure we are able to pay the cast and crew a fair and equitable rate. This money will ensure we can do that and give you 10 EXCELLENT episodes of Regency-era hijinks.
In addition, this production will also be covered under the SAG-AFTRA Independent Podcast Agreement, which means we will be making contributions to the SAG Pension and Healthcare funds. Because there’s nothing better than helping our performers get healthcare!
And, as you might expect, the show will feature original music by BE/HOLD and award-winning sound design by Brian Flaherty.
But Bitcherton can only get made with your help!

All-or-Nothing
This is an all-or-nothing campaign which means if we don’t make our goal, this show won’t get made. So if you want to hear more and find out what happens next with the Bitcherton family, you simply must donate to this Kickstarter.
Independent art lives and dies by your support. Help us make good art, equitable art, sustainable art, and goddamn funny art.
We promise you’ll love it.

What People Are Saying About Bitcherton
“A hilarious take on Bridgerton from the best improv comedians! Come for the awkward outdated romance, stay for the horny vicar!” — Amy Vorphal (Escape the Bloodkeep)
“Absurd and ridiculous in the best possible way. Skewers not just Bridgerton, but anything set in England before 1900. And those pompous fucks deserve to be taken down a peg! If you like Bridgerton but wish it was 10,000 times funnier and more absurd, this is the podcast for you!” — Peter Grosz (Veep)
“Welcome to your new podcast obsession! Bitcherton is the funniest thing I’ve heard in a long time.” — Raphael Chestang (Dropout)
“Jane Austen meets Oscar Wilde in this hilarious Regency podcast. If you like drama, scandal, and the exploits of least favourite cousins, I highly recommend you check it out.” — Hayley Gordon (Co-creator of Good Society)
“Bitcherton sounds amazing. A perfect Regency-era satire where the hilarious, madcap performances are all clothed in warm, inviting sound design. Every scene is full of good humor, pleasant scoring, and sharp bite.” — Tim Platt (Rude Tales of Magic)
“Caro Page is a goddamn paragon of satire and anything they touch lands on the nearest fainting couch having turned to gold.” — Becca Scott (Good Time Society)
“If, like me, you watched Bridgerton but felt like it would be better if you were high, Bitcherton has you covered. Regency lovers, the cast lovingly pokes at all the tropes you know so well. The way this show is chaoticly funny without losing sight of the dramatic threads is genuinely impressive. I’ve laughed my way through the pilot twice now and I’m afraid I'm gonna need the next part of the story ASAP.” — SuperDillin (One Shot Podcast)
